Jeanne M. Deziel Lindenfelser, 81, Monticello, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at The Buffalo Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, May 17, 10:30 a.m., at The Church of St. Albert in Albertville. Father Xavier Thelakkatt was the Celebrant. Interment followed at St. Albert Cemetery. A visitation was held Wednesday, May 16, 4-8 p.m., at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening by Father Brendan Hughes.
Jeanne was born Feb. 11, 1931, in Hamel, the daughter of Frank and Helen Ruff Deziel.
Jeanne and Albert H. Lindenfelser were married on Sept. 18, 1956, in Hamel.
In 1961, Jeanne and Albert started their meat processing business.
She enjoyed floral and cake decorating, dancing, going to the casino, visiting with people and cooking. Jeanne had the best potato salad in the world! Jeanne also enjoyed being on a bowling league.
She is survived by her husband; children, Larry (Lynn) Lindenfelser, Monticello; Marie (Scott) Treptau, Buffalo; Jerry (Lucy) Lindenfelser, Monticello; John (Michelle) Lindenfelser, Monticello; Linda Nordby, St. Michael; Leon (Judy) Lindenfelser, Nowthen; Michelle Schmaus, Farmington; and Teresa (Earl) Dennis, Monticello; 21 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Casket Bearers were Jim and Tony Treptau, Brad Lindenfelser, Peter Lindenfelser, Joe Nordby and Grant Schmaus.
