Katherine Gahr (Casey) Guptil, 87, Minneapolis, died Sunday, July 1, 2012.
Funeral service will be Monday, July 23, 4 p.m., at St. Olaf Catholic Church of Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to Open Arms of Minnesota. Private interment at Orono Cemetery at a later date.
Casey was a 1943 graduate of Big Lake High School.
She is survived by sister Sally (Dick) Martie; children Pam (Dave) Hermanson, Kent Guptil; and two grandsons.
Casey was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Gup); her father Harry Gahr; mothers, Agnes Conlin Gahr and Margaret Cassidy Gahr; siblings, Mary Ann Sherman, Pat McGrath, and Jim Gahr.
