I’ll pay more for good services
To the editor:
I would like Kevin Christianson (Letter to the editor, July 12 Times) to know that I am one of those Minnesotans who is willing to pay more taxes for more services. I have not been water boarded or tickled to come to this conclusion. I lived in Montana for 12 years and, although I loved the mountains, I was afraid to drive on the roads in the winter. Our quality of life is not free.

Did you just get out of an insane asylum? If you want to pay more taxes kindly send a check to the IRS but don’t try to stick your ideals into the heads of those who would rather decide how they want to spend their money on their own. Yes, we should be taxed for infrastructure, but for many other services the government provides it is just silly.
