To Charlotte’s children: I had not had contact with your mother for several years, but when I worked as secretary at the high school and she at the grade school, we had many good times together and many good conversations. An outing with her and Lorraine were always fun times.
She was a wonderful woman, I have not and will not forget her.

Thank you Mary for the kind words. I know you, Lorraine, & mom all had a special friendship. The word school seems to be every other word in her cards. Even at 88 she would smile or giggle followed by one of her school stories, I loved it. She had an extremely peaceful end to her life surrounded by family that was able to fly in from around the country, Thank you again Mary for your kind words! Barb Berndtson

I will always remember your Dear mother by her warm smile, soft spoken voice, and kind heart. She was always helping at the Methodist Church when I was growing up and had a huge impact on me. She was an unforgettable presence at school. And I did not know that we share a birthday! I am so saddened to hear that you have lost your wonderful mother. Denise Trunnell Wallen, always from Monticello, but now living in Montrose, Colorado.
