Wright County Attorney’s Report

Wayne Edward Campbell, 20, of Becker, sentenced on August 28 for probation violations for simple robbery to 9 days jail.
Dennis Leroy Gibbs, 43, of Buffalo, sentenced on August 29 for two counts of felony domestic assault to a stay of imposition for up to five years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $250 fine plus surcharges, undergo a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations,  have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, complete Batterers’ Intervention Program and follow all recommendations, provide DNA sample, complete cognitive skill training, obtain permission before leaving the state, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, remain medically compliant, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order, have no same or similar violations.
Steven Thomas Guiney, 53, of Monticello, sentenced on August 28 for gross misdemeanor second degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 320 days, $2,600 stayed for four years on conditions of probation, serve 45 days jail, pay $400 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, serve 105 days on electronic home monitoring, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, complete intensive supervision program and follow all recommendations, stay out of establishments where alcohol is primary means of business, attend a support group, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
Paul Allen Harcey, 54, of Buffalo, sentenced on August 30 for probation violations for controlled substance crime in the fifth degree to 30 days jail.
Brent Alan Johnson, age 31, of Big Lake, sentenced on August 27 for probation violations for felony criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree to 13 months prison.
Aaron John Manuell, age 34, of Becker, sentenced on August 27 for misdemeanor driving after cancellation to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 45 days, $850 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 45 days jail, pay $150 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, have no same or similar violations.
Danny K. Mead, 29, of Monticello, sentenced on August 24 for disorderly conduct to $50 fine plus surcharges.
Keith Allen Messinger, 39, of Otsego, sentenced on August 30 for felony receiving stolen property to a stay of execution for up to five years on conditions of probation, serve 180 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, follow all recommendations of chemical dependency assessment, obtain permission before leaving the state, complete aftercare and follow all recommendations, pay restitution, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced for felony controlled substance crime in the fifth degree to a stay of execution for up to ten years on conditions he follow the above conditions.
Brian Dean Phoenix, 46, of Monticello, on August 23 the charge of interfering with privacy was dismissed.
Andrew Joseph Rohwer, 29, of Buffalo, sentenced on August 22 for felony controlled substance crime in the third degree to a stay of imposition for up to 30 years on conditions of probation, serve 180 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, attend a support group, provide DNA sample, obtain permission before leaving the state, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no same or similar violations.
Kathleen Elizabeth Sandstrom, 28, of Monticello, sentenced on August 22 for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 355 days, $2,900 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, have no same or similar violations.

Jason James Gilliver, 40, of Fridley was arrested August 27 in Silver Creek Township on the charges of kidnapping and domestic assault.
Melissa Kay Crandell, 37, of Buffalo was arrested August 27 in Buffalo on St. Louis County warrants for financial transaction card fraud and controlled substance violation.
Israel H Colon, 22, of Monticello was arrested August 27 in Monticello on the charge of false information to police.
Donald Edwin Shaw, 65, of Buffalo was arrested August 28 in Buffalo on the charge of driving after cancellation inimical to public safety.
Jeremy Gerard Foss, 31, of Monticello was charged August 29 with misdemeanor domestic assault.
Mark Anthony Klein, 50, of Buffalo was arrested August 30 in Rockford Township for violation of a no contact order.
Dominic Marcus Clifford, 18, of Monticello was arrested August 30 in Monticello on a Wright County warrant for tampering with a motor vehicle.
Mika Dimitri Osborn, 18, of Big Lake was charged August 30 with felony motor vehicle theft.
Cindy Jean Dunn, 53, of Buffalo was arrested August 31 in St. Michael on a Hennepin County warrant for fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Luke Andrew Costanzi, 23, of Buffalo was charged August 31 with third degree gross misdemeanor DWI.
Taquia Nicole Scroggins, 21, of Minneapolis was arrested September 1 in Monticello Township on the charge of false information to police.
Dan Vinh Hong, 57, of St. Michael was arrested September 1 in St. Michael on the charges of second degree assault, terroristic threats and domestic assault.
Jennifer Ann Dye, 37, of Otsego was arrested September 2 in Otsego on the charge of domestic assault.
Jessica Denise Talbot, 34, of Cold Spring was arrested September 3 in Monticello Township on the charge of driving after cancellation inimical to public safety.
There were 9 property damage accidents, 5 personal injury accidents, 1 hit and run accidents and 1 car deer accident.
There were 9 arrests for DWI, 2 underage consumption arrests and 37 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.

Fire Report

Called to the scene of a bicycle vs. car accident on August 29 at 4:40 p.m. The call was canceled due to only minor injuries in the accident, which occured on 7th St. East.
Responded to Fenning and School Blvd. August 30 at 6:35 a.m. for an accident involving a pedestrian and a car. Helped load one patient into an ambulance.
Battled a fire in the 1100 block of 90th Street NE at 11:50 a.m. August 31. The fire was fully involved and Big Lake, Albertville and Buffalo fire were all called in for mutual aid. Monticello FD was on the scene for two and a half hours. The house was a total loss.
Put out a grass fire at 1085 90th St. at 7:40 a.m. on August 31.
Responded to a trailer fire on I-94 at mile marker 196. The fire, at 4:40 p.m. August 31, was started when the truck driver threw out a cigarette which landed on boxes on the trailer and started a fire. The fire department wet down the boxes that were on fire.
Called to Little Mountain Elementary September 3 at 10:58 a.m. for a fire alarm. Call was canceled as it was a false alarm.
Called to Baker Ave. for a fire alarm on September 4 at 12:10 p.m. for a fire alarm. Call was canceled as it was a false alarm.
