Joseph C. Janisch, 34, Ellsworth
Joseph Clair Janisch, 34, Ellsworth, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, in Menomonie, Wis.
Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, Sept. 21, 11:30 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20 at the church and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Lost Creek Cemetery in Ellsworth.
Joe was born Dec. 30, 1977 to David Janisch and Deborah Peterson in Red Wing, Minn. He grew up in Ellsworth, and he worked for most of his life on the family dairy farm. Joe graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1996. For the last year and a half he worked construction for Highway Technologies. He married Gina Brunn on Oct. 9, 2004, in Monticello, Minn.
Joe loved the outdoors, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a friend to everyone, and was always there to help. Joe made the decision to be an organ and tissue donor, and even in death will continue to help others. Joe adored his wife and children, and they were a very important part of his life.
He is survived by his wife; children, Miah, Lillianna, Austin and Brevick; his parents; siblings, Michael (Sarah), England; Marie (Josh) Cady and Karen (Joe) Roesler, Ellsworth.
Joe is preceded in death by his brother Little Dave, and grandparents, Clair and Anna Janisch.
Hill Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Ellsworth is assisting the family. Memorials are preferred to the family.
