Letter: Thelen willing to look at all ideas before a decision is made

To the editor:

I can’t believe how narrow minded Mr. Posusta was in his recent letter regarding Rose Thelen.
First of all, I highly respect a person who will admit they do not know everything. I believe the name for a person who does that is a “know it all” and Ms. Thelen is not one of those people. She is willing to look at all of the ideas before forming a decision which is more than most people are willing to do. I have observed Mr. Posusta during some heated discussions during a city council meeting and believe me, he should have asked some questions before taking on an “I know it all” attitude.
A vote for Ms. Thelen would be a vote for the betterment of our city, which is more than I can say for Mr. Sawatzke. Mr. Sawatzke is very much like some of our legislators who have been in office for many years and operate with an attitude that they know everything there is to know about everything. It is time for a change.
