Wright County Attorney’s Report
Marcus Dale Barfknecht, 19, of Big Lake, sentenced Jan. 2 for felony burglary in the first degree to a stay of execution for up to 20 years on conditions of probation, serve 232 days jail, pay restitution, write a letter of apology to victims, undergo a mental health evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, obtain permission before leaving the state, have no same or similar violations.
Michael Karl Berzins, 27, of Buffalo, sentenced Jan. 7 for felony burglary in the third degree to a stay of execution for 10 years on conditions of probation, serve 81 days jail, pay $100 fine, pay $75 public defender co-payment, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
Joshua Ryan Ergen, 23, of Clearwater, sentenced Jan. 7 for probation violations for misdemeanor trespassing to 30 days jail.
Mary Dorthea Fischer, 51, of Monticello, sentenced Jan. 3 for misdemeanor obstructing legal process to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 86 days, $850 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 4 days,  pay $150 fine plus surcharges, have no use or possession of alcohol, have no same or similar violations.
Darrell James LaPlant, 44, of Buffalo, sentenced Jan. 2 for gross misdemeanor violation of no contact order to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 305 days, $2,700 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 60 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, complete chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, complete Batterer’s Intervention Program and follow all recommendations, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order/no contact order, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no same or similar violations.
Jason Michael Lindstrom, 36, of Otsego, sentenced Jan. 8 for misdemeanor domestic assault to 90 days jail, $300 fine; 89 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 1 day jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order/no contact order, complete batterer’s intervention program and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
Adam George Rising, 20, of Monticello, sentenced Jan. 3 for gross misdemeanor interfere with a 911 Call to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 362 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 3 days jail, pay $75 public defender co-payment, continue with therapy and follow all recommendations, remain medically compliant, have no same or similar violations.
Kaydee Lee Wood, 32, of Otsego, sentenced Jan. 4 for gross misdemeanor stalking to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 365 days, $2,950 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, pay $50 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, provide DNA sample, undergo psychiatric treatment and follow all recommendations, complete cognitive skill training and follow all recommendations, have no contact with victim or victim’s residence, remain medically compliant, serve 10 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations.

James Smith Jr., 32, of Monticello was arrested Jan. 7 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for violation of conditions of release.
Sherrie Lee Miller, 53 of Big Lake was arrested Jan. 7 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for failure to appear.
Travis John Hawkinson, 29, of Albertville was arrested Jan. 7 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for violation of a restraining order.
Allen Michael Rempp, 25, of Buffalo was charged Jan. 7 with felony third degree criminal sexual conduct.
Randy Allen Gordon, 49, of Maple Lake was charged Jan. 7 with felony fifth degree possession of a controlled substance.

Trevor John Gens, 22, of Buffalo was charged Jan. 11 with gross misdemeanor failure to stop and report an accident.
Michael Allan Welker, 51, of Clearwater was charged Jan. 11 with felony fifth degree possession of a controlled substance.
Alyson Marie Nelson, 37, of Buffalo was arrested Jan. 12 in Buffalo on an Anoka County warrant for dog running at large.
Michael Olan Gray, 24, of Farmington was arrested Jan. 13 in Monticello on the charge of violation of a court order.
There were 14 property damage accidents, 3 personal injury accidents, 2 hit and run accidents and 15 car deer accidents.
There were 7 arrests for DWI, 3 underage consumption arrests, 1 school bus stop arm violation and 49 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.

Fire Report
Called to the 10700 block of Bolton Ave. N.W. for a fire alarm Jan. 8 at 2:45 p.m. The alarm was acidentally set off by owner.
Responded to a semi truck on fire Jan. 9 at 8:50 p.m. on I-94 near mile marker 184. A tire from the truck started on fire, spreading to the semi trailer. The fire was put out, but the trailer was a total loss.
Provided ambulance assistance to the 1500 block of Oak Ridge Circle at 6:45 a.m. Jan. 11 for an unresponsive female. One guy went down to North with the ambulance.
Called to stand by at Big Lake Fire Station Jan. 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Provided traffic control at a car roll over Jan. 13 at 11:05 a.m. There were no injuries in the roll over, which occurred at 629 127th St.
