Monticello Library Program will examine polar exploration
The Monticello Public Library is offering a program called “From the Top of the World to the Bottom of the World: Explore the Arctic/Antarctic” for children ages 7 to 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. this Thursday (Jan. 31). Attendees will learn about polar bears, icebergs, penguins and life in the Arctic and Antarctic. The attendance limit is 20 and preregistration is required. Great River Regional Library (GRRL) provides library services at 32 public libraries in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd and Wright Counties. It provides Central Minnesota residents with nearly 1 million books, CDs and DVDs, 250 public computers, programming and information services.
