This is a wakeup call for staff and the reason why we do these things. Meetings have been held with Administration and Staff. The district does five lockdown drills a year, to know if something becomes real does it happen the way they are supposed to. The district has safe school meetings and will continue to do all these things. Overall the district can get better but, administration and staff feels we are good where we are at. Sheriff’s department will be helping in doing a timed drill, they will also watch and critique if needed. We want kids to feel good coming to our schools and be reasonable. We do take this seriously.
