Wright County  Attorney’s Report
Jeffrey David Arneson, 39, of Monticello, sentenced Jan. 24 for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 345 days, $2,500 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 20 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, complete a Level II driving program and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations.
Craig Anthony Crosby, 34, of Monticello, sentenced Jan. 24 for probation violations for felony first degree DWI to 48 months prison.
Angela Jean Hanson, 38, of Monticello, sentenced Jan. 24 for misdemeanor no insurance to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 84 days, $900 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 6 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, have no same or similar violations.
Mark Anthony Helmbrecht, 40, of Monticello, sentenced Jan. 22 for gross misdemeanor violation of an order for protection to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 335 days, $2,800 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $200 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order/no contact order, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, complete batterer’s intervention program and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
Anthony Jefferson Jr., 25, of Monticello, sentenced Jan. 23 for felony terroristic threats to a stay of imposition for five years on conditions of probation, serve 75 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, undergo a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, stay out of establishments where alcohol is primary means of business, obtain permission before leaving the state, obtain a case manager, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, provide DNA sample, have no same or similar violations.
Ricky Joe Jeske, 51, of Buffalo, sentenced Jan. 23 for probation violations for felony assault in the second degree to 90 days jail.
Lisa Ann LaPlant, 47, of Buffalo, sentenced Jan. 24 for misdemeanor disorderly conduct to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 90 days, $850 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, pay $150 fine plus surcharges, have no contact with victim, have no same or similar violations.
Christina Lucille Larson, 31, of Becker, sentenced Jan. 24 for probation violations for felony controlled substance crime in the third degree to 20 days jail.
Darin Michael Neske, 22, of Buffalo, sentenced Jan. 23 for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 350 days, $2,500 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, obtain permission before leaving the state, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide verification of completion of cognitive skills program, serve 25 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations.
Donald Edwin Shaw Jr., 65, of Buffalo, sentenced
Jan. 25 for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 350 days, $2,850 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, pay $150 fine plus surcharges, have no same or similar violations.
Ronald Thomas Winand, 44, of Buffalo, sentenced Jan. 25 for probation violations for felony controlled substance crime in the first degree to one year jail.

Michael William Kelly Lindsay, 35, of Buffalo was arrested Jan. 21 in Buffalo on Wright County warrants for burglary and domestic assault.
Scott Gerald Miller, 31, of Otsego was arrested Jan. 21 in Otsego on the charge of domestic assault.
Lon Andrew Mingo, 44, of Big Lake was arrested Jan. 22 in Buffalo on the charge of second degree controlled substance violation.
Ricky Joe Jeske, 51, of Buffalo was arrested Jan. 22 in Buffalo on Wright County warrants for receiving stolen property and second degree assault.
Craig Anthony Crosby, 34, of Monticello was arrested Jan. 22 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for probation violation.
Kimberly Sue Durand, 27, of Maple Lake was charged Jan. 22 with third degree DWI.
Kevin Jerome Dulski, 50, of Monticello was arrested Jan. 23 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for first degree DWI.
Nathan Everett Anderson, 21, of Becker was arrested Jan. 23 in Stearns County on a Wright Count warrant for second degree criminal sexual conduct.
Richard Kenneth Dobbelaire, 47, of Buffalo was charged Jan. 23 with felony mistreatment of animals.
Carol Linda Duthoy Dobbelaire, 64, of Buffalo was charged Jan. 23 with felony mistreatment of animals.
Justin Allen Ritsche, 25, of Sauk Rapids was arrested Jan. 24 in Monticello on the charges of false information to police and check forgery.
Megan Lea Peters, 23, of Buffalo was charged Jan. 24 with felony theft.
Mark Richard Schaefer, 31, of Monticello was arrested Jan. 25 in Monticello on the charge of third degree DWI.
Tyler Aaron Pierce, 22, of Buffalo was arrested Jan. 25 in Buffalo on the charge of fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Alvino Dean Lebaron, 29, of Buffalo was arrested Jan. 25 in Buffalo on the charge of domestic abuse no contact order violation.
Dawn Marie Roth, 45, of Elk River was arrested Jan. 26 in Monticello on the charge of second degree DWI.
Jana Lee Jaspers, 21, of Buffalo was arrested Jan. 26 in Buffalo on Wright County warrants for third degree DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.
Melissa Kay Crandell, 38, of Buffalo was arrested Jan. 26 in Buffalo on a St. Louis County warrant for probation violation.
Pedro Miguel Diaz Diaz, 29, of Buffalo was arrested Jan. 27 in Monticello on the charge of fifth degree controlled substance violation.
There were 12 property damage accidents, 3 personal injury accidents, no hit and run accidents and 6 car deer accidents.
There were 8 arrests for DWI, 9 underage consumption arrests, one school bus stop arm violations and 53 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

Fire Report
Responded to a fire alarm at 5:45 p.m. Jan. 22 in the 300 block of West 6th St. The alarm had been pulled by a young child.
Called to a fire alarm at Little Mountain Elementary Jan. 23 at 4:34 p.m. Steam from a water leak had set off the alarm.
Called to the 4100 block of 150th St. N.W. Jan. 25 at 1:40 a.m. for what turned out to be a false trip of the fire alarm.
Put out a car fire Jan. 25 at 5:25 p.m. at O’Ryans Gas Station. The car was a total loss.
Called to the a residence in the 500 block of River St. for the smell of smoke inside of the house at 6:43 p.m. Jan. 28. Nothing was found inside or outside the house.
Responded to a rollover on I-94 near mile marker 191 Jan. 28 at 11:25 p.m. Didn’t find a rollover, so the call was canceled.
