Henrietta Stickney

Henrietta Marie “Etta” Stickney, 93, Monticello, died of natural causes  Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at the New River Medical Center Extended Care of Monticello.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Feb. 22, 10:30 a.m., at St. Henry Catholic Church, 1001 7th St. E. Monticello, with Fr. Tony VanderLoop officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, 5-9 p.m., at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 E. Broadway, Monticello, with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Friday at 2:30 p.m.
Etta grew up with seven siblings in St. Cloud, Minn. She married Harold Stickney at St. Steven’s Church in Minneapolis, Minn. They were married for 25 wonderful years and raised four children. She loved to cook, sew, window shop, play bingo, and work on crossword puzzles. She will be deeply missed by many.
Etta is survived by her four children, Karen, Minneapolis; Cheryl, Arizona; Barb (Shane), Otsego; and Mary, Arizona; four brothers; two sisters; eight grandsons; four granddaughters, seven great-grandsons, seven great-granddaughters; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister.
