Zoo animals visit the State Capitol and legislators
A delighted Rep. Anna Wills, R-Apple Valley, watches a slow loris, an animal native to Thailand and Vietnam, live up to its name during Minnesota Zoo Day at the State Capitol. The zoo brings an assortment of animals to the Capitol and sets up displays in the rotunda. Rep. Dan Schoen, DFL-St. Paul Park, enticed one loris into grabbing a piece of fruit.
