NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that default has been made in the terms and conditions of the Declaration of Sunset Ponds I Homeowners’ Association, (hereinafter the Declaration) recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Wright County, Minnesota as Document No. A 935958, which covers the following property:

THAT pursuant to said Declaration, there is claimed to be due and owing as of February 25, 2013, from Jason Kelly and Jan Erickson, title holder, to Sunset Ponds I Homeowners’ Association, a Minnesota non-profit corporation, the amount of $9,814.45, for assessments, late fees and collection costs, plus additional assessments and other amounts that may have accrued since the date of this notice, including the costs of collection and foreclosure;
THAT prior to the commencement of this foreclosure proceeding, Lienor complied with all notice requirements as required by status; that no action or proceeding has been instituted at law or otherwise to recover the debt secured by said lien, or any part thereof;
THAT the owners have not been released from their financial obligation to pay said amount;
THAT pursuant to the Declaration, said debt creates a lien upon said premises in favor of Sunset Pond I Homeowners’ Association, as evidenced by a lien statement recorded on April 12, 2010, in the office of the Wright County Recorder as Document No. A 1144948;
THAT pursuant to the power of sale granted by the owners in taking title to the premises subject to said Declaration, said lien will be foreclosed by the sale of said property by the sheriff of said County at the Main Office of the Wright County Sheriff, Civil Division, 3800 Braddock Avenue, NE, City of Buffalo, Wright County, Minnesota, on May 1, 2013, at 10 a.m., at public auction to the highest bidder, for cash, to pay the amount then due for said assessments, together with the costs of foreclosure, including attorney’s fees as allowed by law. The time allowed by law for redemption by the unit owners, their personal representatives or assigns is six (6) months from the date of said sale.
DATE TO VACATE PROPERTY: The date on or before which the owner must vacate the property if the account is not brought current or the property redeemed under Minn. Stat. ‘ 580.23 is November 1, 2013. If the foregoing date is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, then the date to vacate is the next business day at 11:59 p.m.

9. 2nd Reading of Policy 514 – Bullying – Jim Johnson, Superintendent presented policy 514 for a second reading for School Board approval.

10. FY14 Capital Budget Presentation – Tina Burkholder, Business Manager presented a proposed Capital Budget for next year. The Revenue target is almost $1.2 million but has been narrowed down to $1.5 million. Tina has asked principals and custodian’s to prioritize their needs; once this is done she will bring back a recommendation to the School Board for approval.
11. 2013-14 Calendar Options – After the calendar has been presented to; building administrator’s, staff, the CAC committee; and looking at what is best for kids for student achievement Jim Johnson, Superintendent presented three calendar options.
12. Superintendent Report – Jim Johnson, Superintendent reported on the following topics:-moving forward with the Budget and hopefully final numbers will be in May-Trap Shooting League – he is continuing to look into this and trying to find answers to many questions; what is the impact for insurance, what about the students that don’t have guns, volunteers – are the volunteers qualified, the group is asking for a $250 fee – that is not part of our activities fee structure. There are still a lot of questions; he will be meeting with the Trap Shooting League representatives this week.-Sequester – our 2012-14 funds will be cut, we will plan for that and move forward -Trap Shooting and Lacrosse league options will be work session topics held to discuss for sports activities criteria.

APPEAL AND EQUALIZATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization of the City of Monticello, Wright County, Minnesota, will meet at 6 P.M. on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the Monticello Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the City has been properly valued and classified by the County Assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. Please note that this involves assessed valuations for 2013, which will affect taxes payable in 2014.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact the Wright County Assessor’s Office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with the Assessor, you may appear before the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization on April 11th. The Board shall review the valuation and/or classification, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your Local Board of Appeal and Equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the County Board of Appeal and Equalization.
If you wish to be heard by the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization, please contact the Wright County Assessor’s Office at 763-682-7367 to schedule an appointment for the meeting on April 11th. If you appear at the meeting without scheduling an appointment, you may need to wait until those with appointments have been heard.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of the City of Monticello Economic Development Authority (the “EDA”) will hold a public hearing on April 10, 2013, at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the City of Monticello City Council Chambers in City Hall, 505 Walnut Street, Suite 1, Monticello, Minnesota, to consider the proposed sale of certain land at 349 W. Broadway in the City of Monticello to Blue Egg Bakery (the “Purchaser”). The subject land is described as follows:
The South Half of Lots 1, 2, and 3, in Block 50, Townsite of Monticello, according to the plat on file and of record in the office of the Registrar of Deeds in and for Wright County, Minnesota. Said South Half of Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 50, can also be described as follows: Beginning at the mid-point of the common line between Lots 3 and 4, in said Block; thence Southerly along said common line 82.5 feet to the Southerly line of said Block (being the Southeast corner of said Lot 3); thence Westerly along the Southerly line of Lots 3, 2, and 1 for a distance of 99 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 1; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of Lot 1 for a distance of 82.5 feet; thence straight Easterly 99 feet to the point of beginning and there terminating.
It is proposed that the EDA will convey the land to the Purchaser in furtherance of the EDA’s goals for its Central Monticello Redevelopment Project No. 1. At the hearing, the EDA will meet to decide if the sale is advisable. A copy of all documents relating to the proposed sale of land will be on file and available for inspection at City Hall during regular business hours.
