Karen M. Hiller, 60, Big Lake, died in her sleep at her home on Friday April 5, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 E. Broadway, Monticello. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Kyle Sidlo officiating. There will be a private interment. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.
Karen was born Oct. 8, 1952 in Monticello to Frances and Adeline Little. She graduated from Elk River High School in 1970. On July 18, 1970, she was united in marriage to David Hiller. Karen enjoyed hunting, fishing, scrap booking and spending time with her family, friends, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David Hiller; two daughters Becky (Cory) Altman, Bonnie (Phil Knutson) Howe; eight grandchildren Jessica, Kayla, Spencer, Kollin, Ryan, Kade, Page and Austin; three sisters Arlene Wicklund, Mary Peck and Patricia Grossman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Adeline Little; and three sisters Frances Stroner, Barbara Johnson and LuAnn Nelsen.
