Key meetings will shape Bertram Chain of Lakes project

Two key meetings in less than a week’s time will have an important impact on the Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park’s next phases of development.
Advisory council members will meet this Friday to review recent legislative action affecting park funding and receive updates on three grant applications.
The council will also receive a progress report from Parks Administrator Marc Mattice on Phase 4, Phase 5 and Phase 6 parcel-specific land acquisitions.
The May 13 Wright County Parks Commission meeting agenda includes a detailed Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park cost analysis report, which provides background on park land acquisition, development, operations and maintenance, project phasing, funding sources to date, as well as the overall public input process.

See this week’s print edition of the Monticello Times for the complete story.
