NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed quotes will be received by the City of Monticello, Wright County, Minnesota, for the following street maintenance:
Bituminous sealcoat of approximately 69,865 square yards of City Streets.
Quotes will be received until 10 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Monticello City Hall, Monticello, Minnesota, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
All quotes shall be sealed and addressed to the City Administrator, City of Monticello, 505 Walnut Street, Suite #1, Monticello, Minnesota 55362, clearly marked, “2013 Sealcoat Quote”, and shall be submitted on the Quote Form included in the Specifications for Street Bituminous Sealcoat.
Copies of the plans and specifications and other proposed contract documents are on file with the City Administrator and can be obtained by contacting City Hall at 505 Walnut Street, Suite #1, Monticello, Minnesota 55362.
All quotes shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the City of Monticello for an amount not less than 5% of the quotes.  The City of Monticello reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to waive any informalities in the quoting, and to accept any quoting to be in the best interest of the City of Monticello.  No quote may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days of the quote opening.

Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the decedent’s estate, including the power to collect all assets; pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the decedent’s estate.
