Attorney’s Report

Joshua Thomas Bitzer, 24, of Monticello, sentenced May 9 for probation violations for gross misdemeanor violation of no contact order to 2 days jail.
Terry Alan Clifton, 50, of Buffalo, sentenced May 16 for probation violations for gross misdemeanor criminal damage to property in the third degree to 30 days jail.
Travis Lee Kruck, 25, of Buffalo, sentenced May 13 for felony assault in the third degree to a stay of execution for five years on conditions of probation, serve 60 days jail, pay $75 public defender co-payment, pay restitution, have no contact with victim, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, stay out of establishments where alcohol is primary means of business, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, follow all recommendations of chemical dependency evaluation, undergo counseling and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
Eric John Martner, 22, of Monticello, sentenced May 9 for misdemeanor domestic assault to 90 days jail, $300 fine; 80 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, complete an anger management program and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no same or similar violations.
Jacob Michael Scott, 40, of Otsego, sentenced May 13 for misdemeanor domestic assault to 90 days jail, $300 fine; 90 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, undergo a psychological evaluation and follow all recommendations, complete a domestic violence program, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no same or similar violations.
Chad Allan Strefelder, 42, of Otsego, sentenced May 13 for misdemeanor driving after cancellation to 90 days jail, $100 fine; 88 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 2 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, have no same or similar violations.

Heather Marie Dahlheimer, 29, of Monticello was arrested May 13 in Ramsey County on a Wright County warrant for third degree controlled substance violation.
Troy Robert Hess, 30, of Buffalo was charged May 13 with gross misdemeanor domestic assault.
Terry Alan Clifton, 50, of Maple Lake was arrested May 14 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for property damage.
Lawrence John Babcock, 27, of Big Lake was arrested May 14 in Monticello on the charge of fugitive from justice.
Christina Marie Pecholt, 39, of St. Cloud was arrested May 14 in Monticello for possession of stolen property and a Benton County warrant for check forgery.
Amber Marie Howard, 26, of Annandale was arrested May 15 in Monticello on a Morrison County warrant for first degree assault.
Seth Leroy Heavirland, 23, of Big Lake was arrested May 15 in Sherburne County on Wright County warrants for first degree criminal damage to property and 5th degree assault.
Mitchell Edward Merchant, 48, of Zimmerman was arrested May 15 in Monticello on a Mille Lacs County warrant for failure to appear.
Aaron Arthur John Bethke, 31, of Albertville was arrested May 15 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for interference with a 911 call.
Michael Daniel Stumpf, 26, of Maple Lake was arrested May 15 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for domestic assault.
Adam Robert Heaver, 23, of Buffalo was arrested May 16 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for theft.
Taylor Dean Nieskens, 20, of Buffalo was arrested May 17 in Maple Lake on a Wright County warrant for disorderly conduct.
Richard Evan Politte, 29, of Buffalo was arrested May 17 in Buffalo on an apprehension and detention order from the MN Department of Corrections.
Michael David Stumpf, 26, of Maple Lake was arrested May 18 in Annandale on the charge of violation of a domestic abuse no contact order.
Anthony Wayne Hoyt, 27, of Bemidji was arrested May 19 in Monticello on the charge of fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Adam David Warrington, 39, of Buffalo was arrested May 19 in Buffalo on the charge of contempt of court.
Jon Fredrick Berscheid, 52, of Monticello was arrested May 19 in Monticello Township on the charge of violation of a domestic abuse no contact order.
There were 26 property damage accidents, 6 personal injury accidents, 3 hit and run accidents and 1 car deer accident.
There were 4 arrests for DWI, 1 underage consumption arrest, 2 school bus stop arm violations and 34 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

Fire Report

Put out a grass fire in the woods near the 100 block of 107th St. NE May 14 at 6:53 p.m.
Responded to a fire on the deck of a house May 15 at 1:35 p.m. in the 800 block of River St. Fire had already been put out.
Put out a fire in the bushes around a house in the 8600 block of County Rd. 39 NE May 15 at 3:40 p.m.
Called to a car accident at mile marker 189 on I-94 May 16 at 2:14 p.m. Call was canceled by Wright County.
Responded to a fire alarm at Cargill May 16 at 5:06 p.m. Smoke alarm was set off from construction crew grinding stairs.
Responded to a car accident May 18 at 9:51 a.m. near mile marker 194 on I-94. Helped with patient care, debris cleanup, traffic control and applied absorbent on oil spill.
Checked for carbon monoxide levels inside a resident in the 200 block of Broadway West May 19 at 8:45 p.m. Found nothing.
Responded to a car accident at Super 8 Motel at 2:19 p.m. May 19. One car was leaking brake fluid, used absorbent to clean up the fluid.
Extinguished a semi-truck fire and provided traffic control near mile marker 196 on I-94 May 20 at 10:23 p.m.
