The Wright County Highway Department would like to inform the public that County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 75 will be undergoing road work in the form of a pavement preservation project.
The improvement work includes recycling the existing bituminous surface material and placement of a new pavement surface.  The shoulders of the highway will also receive a paved bituminous surface.
The work limits will be from the Otter Creek crossing in Monticello to the west county line in Clearwater (approximately 12.8 miles in length).  Work will be done in two phases. Work on the Phase I segment of Highway 75 (Hasty to Monticello) will begin no sooner than June 22. The Interstate 94 construction project will be completed before the Phase II work (Clearwater to Hasty) begins.  Funding for this improvement project will come from a combination of federal and state gas tax funds.
A detour of traffic will not be necessary during construction. All traffic will be directed by flag people near and through the work zone.  Please be prepared to expect minor delays during construction activity.
