FiberNet Monticello may build communications tower

FiberNet Monticello is interested in the financial potential of building and leasing a communications tower and using it as a tool to generate additional revenue.
General Manager Mark Pultusker presented the idea Monday night as part of a comprehensive telecommunications and broadband service and system update.
Monticello City Council members approved spending $2,500 to complete a Phase 1 environmental study that would give FiberNet the flexibility to fast track any project once it moves from a tentative proposal to an outright committed project. “We are still working with ways to increase revenue,” Pultusker told the city council.

They can’t fix the problems they have now. Why invest more tax dollars into this? I DON’T GET IT.

    Seth,
I couldn’t disagree with you more. They have taken care of problems I have had in a timely manner and with professionalism.
