Attorney’s Report

Patrick Todd Centers, 25, of Buffalo, sentenced August 22 for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 355 days, $2,700 stayed for three years on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, attend a support group and verify attendance, complete chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, remain medically compliant, serve 20 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations.
Jesse Allen Schmidt, 21, of Albertville, sentenced August 22 for misdemeanor fourth degree DWI to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 86 days, $900 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 4 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, complete a Level I driving program, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations.

Jose Jesus Vargus, 30, of Monticello was arrested August 19 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for theft.
Stephen Eugene Forslund, 48, of Otsego was arrested August 19 in Anoka County on a Wright County warrant for fifth degree criminal sexual conduct.
Brittani Rae Schroeder, 27, of Maple Lake was charged August 19 with felony identity theft.
Dustin James Woodfill, 27, of Buffalo was charged August 19 with felony criminal sexual conduct.
Justin Phillip Iaquinto, 23, of Monticello was charged August 19 with felony assault.
Timothy David Rousu, 24, of Annandale was arrested August 20 in Monticello on the charge of second degree DWI test refusal.
April Ann Scheef, 31, of Monticello was arrested August 21 in Monticello on the charge of domestic assault.
Justin Richard Corcoran, 26, of Clearwater was arrested August 21 in Clearwater on a Wright County warrant for third degree DWI.
Cory James Agre, 32, of Monticello was arrested August 21 in Monticello on an apprehension and detention order from the MN Department of Corrections.
Lenea Mae Townsend, 42, of Buffalo was arrested August 22 in Buffalo on an apprehension and detention order from the MN Department of Corrections.
Jacob Lee Block, 26, of Monticello was arrested August 22 in Monticello on a MN Department of Corrections warrant for second degree criminal sexual conduct.
Anthony Arthur Forsgren, 39, of Monticello was arrested August 22 in Monticello on an Anoka County warrant for fifth degree assault.
Scott Gerald Kaminski, 36, of Buffalo was arrested August 22 in Buffalo on an apprehension and detention order from the MN Department of Corrections.
Trevor Allen Heitland, 21, of Monticello was arrested August 23 in Buffalo on an apprehension and detention order from the MN Department of Corrections.
David Phillip Mihulka, 18, of Monticello was arrested August 23 in Monticello on the charge of flee police on foot and a Sherburne County warrant for fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Clifton John Rennie, 44, of Champlin was arrested August 23 in Monticello on a Blue Earth County warrant for third degree criminal sexual conduct and an
Anoka County warrant for failure to register as a predatory offender.
Brent Michael Kasper, 31, of Monticello was arrested August 25 in Monticello on the charges of second degree assault and domestic assault.
There were 19 property damage accidents, 9 personal injury accidents, 1 hit and run accidents and 2 car deer accidents.
There were 5 arrests for DWI, no underage consumption arrests and 50 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

Fire Report

Called to investigate a garage fire by Clearwater fire August 21 at 4:45 p.m. On scene for over two hours.
Called to the 9600 block of Hard Blvd. August 22 at 11:59 a.m. for a possible house fire. Turned out to be the fire pit in the backyard, the homeowner put out the fire.
Responded to Twin City Die Casting August 24 at 9:38 a.m. for a roof ventilation fire Put out the fire and did overhaul of the roof. Had Big Lake fire over for precation, but turned them around on their way over. On scene for two hours.
Called to a swamp fire in the 8200 block of Jason Ave. at 9:27 a.m. August 25. Turned out they had a permit, but all permits were cancelled after August. 24 due to dry weather. The home owner put out the fire.
Called to a car rollover August 25 at 6:09 p.m. near mile marker 192 on I-94. Call was canceled by deputy on the scene.
Responded to a fire alarm in the 9700 block of Summit Court August 27 at 11:44 a.m. Nothing was wrong, just changed batteries in the alarm.
