The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol opened Interstate 94 between Highway 24 in Clearwater and County Road 8 in Hasty at 12:20 p.m. today.

A semi tractor-trailer rollover near the Hasty-Silver Creek exit caused major traffic delays earlier this morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the single-vehicle accident was reported at 6 a.m. near mile marker 183, just north of the exit.

The driver of the 2003 International truckĀ  involved in the rollover was identified as Ronald L. Steen, 47, of Norwood, Minn. His medical condition was listed as serious by the State Patrol. Steen was eastbound on Interstate 94 when he swerved to miss a dog and rolled into the center media, the patrol reported.

Eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 94 were closed after the accident, the patrol reported. Single-lane traffic started to move through the area as emergency crews began working to clear the accident scene shortly before 8 a.m.
