Attorney’s Report

Trevor Allen Heitland, 21, of Monticello, sentenced Sept. 6 for probation violations for felony controlled substance crime in the fifth degree to one year and one day prison.  Sentenced for probation violations for terroristic threats to one year and one day prison.
Stacey Ann Nyberg, 42, of Monticello, sentenced Sept. 9 for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 355 days, $2,700 stayed for four years on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, complete a Level II driving program and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, serve 20 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations.
Bryant Patrick Russel Stucky, 19, of Maple Lake, sentenced Sept. 12 for probation violations for felony controlled substance crime in the fifth degree to 30 days jail.

James Raymond Bakke, 45, of Clearwater was arrested Sept. 9 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for terroristic threats.
Thomas Allen Lovitt, 29, of Clearwater was arrested Sept. 9 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for violation of conditions of release.
Peter Eugene Hakanson, 20, of Monticello was arrested Sept. 9 in Monticello on the charge of disturbing the peace.
Katrina Alexandra Rose, 19, of Farmington was arrested Sept. 10 in Monticello on the charge of fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Nicholas Bryan Ordorff, 30, of Annandale was arrested Sept. 10 in Monticello on a Wright County warrant for interference with a 911 call.
Hung Phi Dao, 19, of Delano was arrested Sept. 11 in Monticello on a Wright County warrant for domestic assault.
Brittnie Paige Smitherman, 31, of Buffalo was arrested Sept. 11 in Buffalo on the charges of fifth degree assault and domestic assault.
Zachary Taylor Haley, 23, of Blaine was arrested Sept. 11 in Monticello on the charge of fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Jesse Ray Pontosa McKenna, 26, of Marshall was arrested Sept. 11 in Monticello on the charge of possession of stolen property.
Randy Allen Gordon, 50, of Maple Lake was arrested Sept. 12 in Isanti County on a Wright County warrant for fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Michael Lee Rocco Hansen-Maier, 25, of Monticello was arrested Sept. 13 in Monticello on the charge of fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Heidi Jean Stottler, 38, of Monticello was arrested Sept. 13 in Monticello on the charge of fifth degree controlled substance violation and a Hennepin County warrant for theft.
Ross John Nylin, 50, of Monticello was arrested Sept. 13 in Monticello on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County.
Bryan Christopher Martin, 38, of Albertville was arrested Sept. 13 in Albertville on a Wright County warrant for domestic assault.
Peter Eugene Hakanson, 20, of Monticello was arrested Sept. 14 in Monticello on the charges of violation of conditions of release and underage consumption.
Alan Roger Stai, 53, of Monticello was arrested Sept. 15 in Monticello on a Carver County warrant for contempt of court.
Shawn Michael Wendt, 36, of Big Lake was arrested Sept. 15 in Monticello on the charge of theft.
David Anthony Traeger, 29, of Buffalo was arrested Sept. 15 in Buffalo on the charge of disorderly conduct.
John Brent Powers, 28, of Robinsdale was arrested Sept. 16 in Monticello on the charge of third degree DWI.
There were 19 property damage accidents, 4 personal injury accidents and 5 car-deer accidents.
There were 6 arrests for DWI, 1 underage consumption arrest and 49 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

Fire Report

Called to Monticello Middle School at 2:12 a.m. Sept. 13 for two fire alarms. Both alarms were canceled.
Provided standby for sheriffs while they performed a search warrant Sept. 13 at 1:40 p.m. in the 3200 block of 88th St.
Put out a small fire in a car engine Sept. 15 at 4:06 a.m. near mile marker 193 on I-94.
