The annual Girl Scout Nuclear Science and Technology Day at the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant’s training facility at 2100 W. River St. In Monticello was hosted by Women in Nuclear Saturday, Sept. 21.  Julie Weber, a plant control room supervisor and Women in Nuclear member, was lead organizer for the daylong education event. A total of 82 Girl Scouts and 33 parents attended the event, which featured troops from Monticello, Big Lake, St. Cloud, Rockford, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Farmington and Rochester.
