Timber Dash race organizers offer thanks to sponsors, event participants

To the editor:

The fourth annual Timber Dash 5K held on Oct. 5 at Lake Maria State Park, Monticello benefitting the Crisis Nursery serving Wright County was a successful event!
We were excited to have more than 260 adults take on the challenging trails to experience the beautiful and brisk autumn morning at Lake Maria.
A roaring bonfire and acoustic guitar music played by Peter Gale of Maple Grove added to the setting.
A Kid’s Race was also held and enjoyed by 41 spirited children.
Pictures and results are now on the www.timberdash.com website.
We would like to thank the many people who supported this event including the sponsors Allina Hospital, Buffalo, CentraCare Health, Monticello, Courage to Care Council,  Buffalo Rotary, Moon Motor Sports, Monticello, Kid’s Haven Child Care, Buffalo, Lewis Kannegieter & Wright LLC, Monticello, Matt Legal Services , Buffalo  and Scheel’s in St. Cloud.
We also had generous monetary donations and donations of food and  beverages  from Broadway Cycle, Monticello,  Caribou Coffee, Monticello, Coborn’s, Clearwater,  Cub Foods Buffalo and Monticello, Great Harvest Bread, Margaret Serbus, Edina Realty, McDonald’s, Monticello, Sam’s Club, Maple Grove, Small Plant Foods, Steve O’ Septic, Monticello, Walgreens, Buffalo and the Wright County Dairy Association.
