Attorney’s Report

Adam Lee Heaver, 24, of Buffalo, sentenced Nov. 27 for felony criminal sexual conduct in the third degree to a stay of imposition for fifteen years on conditions of probation, serve 60 days jail, pay $50 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, register as a sex offender, provide DNA sample, have no contact with victim, have no contact with persons under the age of 18 years, have no use or possession of pornography, have no use or access to the Internet without monitoring software, have no access to social medial networking, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, submit to a polygraph, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, undergo sex offender treatment and follow all recommendations, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
Aaron John Manuell, 36, of Monticello, sentenced Dec. 3 for felony fleeing a peace officer to a stay of execution for three years on conditions of probation, serve 90 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, obtain permission before leaving the state.  Sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation to 365 days jail; 275 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 90 days jail, concurrent, follow above conditions.
Corey Nicholas Moeller, 24, of Big Lake, sentenced Nov. 27 for probation violations for terroristic threats to 55 days jail.
Cesar Ortiz-Benitez, 36, of Big Lake, sentenced Nov. 27 for felony aid and abet controlled substance crime in the third degree to a stay of execution for twenty years on conditions of probation, serve 180 days jail, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, obtain permission before leaving the state, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
Kelly Joel Tyttle, 46, of Monticello, sentenced Nov. 23 for misdemeanor  DWI to 90 days jail, $500 fine; 90 days stayed for one year on the conditions of probation, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, complete a Level I driving program, complete 32 hours community service, have no same or similar violations.
Curtis Edwin Wilson, 20, of Monticello, sentenced Dec. 2 for probation violations felony controlled substance crime in the fourth degree to 15 months prison.  Sentenced for felony burglary
in the second degree to 13 months prison, concurrent.  Sentenced for probation violations for felony controlled substance crime in the fifth degree to one year and one day prison, concurrent.

Sheriff’s Report

Brian Russell Rudolph, 39, of Buffalo was arrested Dec. 2 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for domestic assault.
Tyrone Ray-Herbert Hylland, 31, of Buffalo was arrested Dec. 3 in Buffalo on Wright County warrant for third degree DWI.
Jared Dean Anderson, 20, of Buffalo was arrested Dec. 4 in Albertville on a Wright County warrant for fifth degree controlled substance violation.
Kevin Rees Nicholls, 36, of Buffalo was charged Dec. 4 with felony second degree controlled substance sale.
Katie Ann Gould, 22, of Buffalo was arrested Dec. 4 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for theft.
Michael John Steffens, 31, of Monticello was arrested Dec. 5 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for second degree DWI.
Steven Robert Keesling, 19, of Monticello was arrested Dec. 6 in Monticello on the charge of possession of stolen property.
William Virgil Miller, 46, of Alvin, Tx was arrested Dec. 7 in Monticello on the charge of third degree DWI.
Heather Carin Eckert, 35, of Buffalo was arrested Dec. 7 in Buffalo on an Otter Tail County warrant for probation violation.
Darren Michael Ochocki, 44, of Otsego was arrested Dec. 7 in Otsego on Blue Earth County warrants for stalking and violation of a harassment restraining order.
Patrick Anthony Staunton, 45, of Buffalo was arrested Dec. 8 in Delano on the charge of third degree DWI.
Laura Susan Wyman, 48, of Monticello was arrested Dec. 8 in Albertville on the charge of driving after cancellation inimical to public safety.
Dylan James Ogren, 19, of Buffalo was arrested Dec. 8 in Buffalo on the charge of violation of a court order.
There were 107 property damage accidents, 6 personal injury accidents, 4 hit and run accidents and 6 car deer accidents.
There were 8 arrests for DWI, no underage consumption arrests, no school bus stop arm violations and 99 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

Monticello
Fire Report

Called to a car accident in the 100 block of 7th St. Dec. 3 at 3:42 p.m. Call was canceled by deputy on the scene.
Put out a small car fire using a water extinguisher at 6:34 p.m. Dec. 3 in the 6200 block of Edmonson Ave.
Called to CentraCare Nursing home Dec. 3 at 6:50 p.m. for a missing person. He was found before the department arrived.
Provided standby at the Big Lake fire scene while they were at the scene of the Elk River apartment fire. Eventually got sent to the apartment fire to help put out the fire. On scene till 4 p.m.
Called to a car rollover Dec. 6 at 2:23 a.m. near mile marker 185 on I-94. Call was canceled by dispatch due to no injuries.
Checked on the smell of propane inside a house in the 400 block of 6th St. W at 7:54 p.m. on Dec. 7. Found out that a cat had turned on the burner. Ventilated the house.
Put out a garage fire Dec. 9 at 3:59 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak View Circle. Called in Big Lake Fire for mutual aid and spent two and a half hours on scene. Returned to the 100 block of Oak View Circle Dec. 9 at 7:35 p.m. to water down a couple of hot spots.
