Bruce Stiller

Bruce L. Stiller, age 64, formerly of Monticello, MN resident of rural Little Falls, MN passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at his home.
Funeral service were held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial took place in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN.

Bruce was born on May 4, 1950 in Little Falls, MN to the late Clarence and Betty (Kieley) Stiller. He grew up in Crystal, MN graduating from Robbinsdale-Cooper High School. He enlisted into the U.S Army in 1967 and served during the Vietnam War with the 25th Infantry. He was honorably discharged in 1971 and later re-enlisted into the Army reserves for 12 years were he achieved the rank of Sgt. 1st Class.
Bruce was united in marriage to Debra Ruud in November of 1974 in New Hope, MN. He raised his family in Monticello, MN and later relocated to Little Falls, MN in 1996. Bruce was united in marriage to Mary Nelson on December of 2008 at the Camp Ripley Chapel.
He enjoyed fishing, horse shoes, and watching sports especially the Minnesota Vikings. Bruce was actively involved with the Little Falls VFW Post #1112 where he served as the Senior Vice Commander, also the Little Falls D.A.V and the Memorial Rifle Squad at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
Bruce had many friends that he cherished and enjoyed being with. He also loved spending time with his family and fiance; Pam Hopkins and her children.
Bruce is survived by children, Spencer Stiller of Little Falls, MN and Jeremy (Jessica) Stiller of Monticello, MN; fiance;, Pamela Hopkins of Little Falls, MN; brothers, Ron (Linda) Salzbrunn of Las Vegas, NV, David (Mary) Stiller of Phoenix, AZ, and Ron (Lois) Stiller of Plymouth, MN; sister, Darlene (Glenn) Grambart of Phoenix, AZ; and 7 grandchildren.
Bruce was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Betty Stiller; wives, Debra Stiller and Mary Stiller; step-father, Martin Kuehl; and sister, Diane Kuehl.
