Dale A. Koep

Dale Anthony Koep was born on January 17, 1956 to Donald and Dorothy (Klimek) Koep in Parkers Prairie, MN. As a young boy Dale was a mass server and loved gardening with his mother. He played baseball and wrestled for Parkers Prairie High School and graduated in 1974. He then married and two children were born, Nathan and Angela.
Dale enlisted in the United States Marine Corps September 20, 1972 and served until July 5, 1982. After Dales time serving in the Marines he lived with his family in Monticello and worked at Del Tec Inc. in Plymouth, MN for over 20 years. During Dales time with Del Tec, he traveled around the world and brought home souvenirs and artifacts from many countries he visited during his travels.
In 1993 Dale built a house in Becker, MN and met Teresa Posthumus. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening with Teresa as well as riding his Harley. He was a perfectionist in all that he did and everything had a particular place. Dale also enjoyed hunting, fishing and just hanging out with friends and family. Dale was an easy going man who was full of life and had a charismatic personality. One of the most important things to Dale was his family. He loved to come back home to spend time with family and friends, sitting around a bonfire sharing stories and making new memories. Dale will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
