Lois “Jeanne” Jean Kittel, age 75, of Rogers, Minnesota, passed away Monday, July 24th, 2017 at The Wellstead of Rogers Memory Care facility, surrounded by her loved ones.
Lois Kittel was born November 18th, 1941 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Hilary and Lucille Jorgerson. She was given up for adoption at age of eight. Lois was adopted by Willard and Viola Esau. She instantly had an older brother Dwight Esau.
In 1962, Lois “Jeanne” was united in marriage to John Kittel at Judson Baptist Church in Minneapolis. Over the years they had three children, Todd, Jeff and Kelly.
Lois was a very loving mother, taking care of her family and others were her priority. She enjoyed going out with friends or family for coffee, going with John to the health club three days a week. Her most enjoyment came from being with her grandchildren. They were the love of her life.
Lois “Jeanne” Kittel is preceded in death by her birth parents Hilary and Lucille Jorgerson; adoptive parents Willard and Viola Esau; sisters Sharon and Darleen; brother Hilary Jr.; mother-in-law Martha Kittel and father-in-law John Micheal Kittel.
Lois is survived by husband John Kittel; sons Todd Kittel and wife Amy Kittel of Mound, Jeff Kittel fiancée Karrie Zajicek of Otsego; daughter Kelly Kittel (Ische) and husband Troy Ische of Waconia; grandchildren Ashlee Kittel, Konnor Kittel, Kayla Ische, Gabrielle Kittel, Emma Ische, Tyler Kittel; sisters-in-law Millie Searcy, Evelyn Schluter, Marlys Auperlee and many cousins.
Memorial Service will be held at Community United Methodist Church in Monticello, Minnesota on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Carrie Binnie as officiant. Lois will be buried at Riverside Cemetery in Monticello.
