If you have ever visited a cabin in Minnesota, don’t miss out on a great presentation we have coming up. Award winning photographer and author Doug Ohman will take you on a relaxing and scenic journey to the heart of Minnesota lake country. See photographs of some of Minnesota’s most interesting and unique cabins. The pictures will help bring back those wonderful memories of spending time at your favorite getaway. Doug will share stories, history, and memories of this long-time tradition. This session will be offered free of charge on Monday, August 21 at 10:30 a.m. People are asked to sign up if they plan to attend and can do so by calling the center at 763-295-2000.
Advance sign up is not necessary for people age 60+ to come to the center to get their toenails cut. People will have the opportunity to hear some really good music at the senior center Jam Session on Sunday, August 13.
