Joe Hagerty was re-elected Tuesday night as Wright County Sheriff, defeating challenger Stacy Braun. Unofficial results updated shortly before 1:30 a..m. and posted on the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website with all precincts reporting showed Hagerty had won by collecting 25,652 votes (67.61 percent) while Braun had received 12,208 votes (32.18 percent).
Brian Stumpf will be the new mayor of Monticello, according to unofficial results from the city. Voting results gathered from the city of Monticello show that Stumpf garnered 1,910 votes, more than double each of his opponents.
