Motorists in Monticello will find quick access to westbound Interstate 94 beginning today (Thursday, July 17) as the ramp and all lanes from northbound Highway 25 to westbound I-94 are now open. The ramp and turn lane, which were closed May 29 while crews reconstructed the ramp and installed an improved signal system, were re-opened at 11:45 this morning, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) reported in a news release.
A Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) spokesman confirmed Monday afternoon that a patron who recently ate at the Monticello Applebee’s restaurant was included on a list of people affected by a recent statewide E. coli outbreak.
