City leaders heard an interesting transportation tale before approving a multi-year contract with A+ Taxi of Monticello for public transit services Monday night. Lori Hauge, 1213 Hart Boulevard, addressed council members during citizen comments. She walked to the meeting from her home at Mississippi Shores. And a comment by Councilmember Glen Posusta made several of his fellow city council members turn their heads.
Seven people have been charged in Wright County District Court in connection with a July 2 series of arrests completed by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit. Search warrants executed in the 6800 block of Gingham Court led to the seizure of methamphetamine and stolen property.
